Must learn to sit still ..................................... !
At the marina @ 8am awaiting a little water , EOT made the 1st move & we followed a few minutes later with Escape 2 just behind . Not long before we was up to speed & rapidly approaching EOT .
Headed East for a while towards the Knoll & Stu slung a left & we slung a right ( The long safe way around !! ) & then headed South a bit , in the distance there were a few early starters by the looks of things lol & was beggining to think i needed to get up a little earlier , Rob on Sonny Jim was in postion so we moved 1/2 mile or so away & dropped the hook in 8m of water on a flooding tide .
Squid & herring was the bait on the 5 rods & we casted out & waited - lots of doggies & a few whiting , then a Roker & another & another & 1 more , 4 in quick succesion all returned , then it died a death as we started to lose the tide ( stilll well over an hour to slack ) - So i made the decision ( the wrong one @ that > Read EOT report !! ) & headed for the windfarm adjacent to the Wallet No6 - Great start straight into another Roker - Slack came & bacon rolls & cakes were served , we soon swung round & awaited the ebb to start & start it did !
I was to deep & struggled to hold bottom , so up they come again & we moved West inshore towards Escape 2 , niced a tiny codlin here , it got a liitle snotty so we made the move back to Bradders @ 3pm
Done shit loads of fuel for 5 roker but hey fookin realy enjoyed it , messed about in the river in the sun for a bit before getting on the mooring @ 4pm ish
